The Mission of the Nottingham Fire Rescue Department is to protect life and property, to promote public safety, to educate the community and to help those in need.

The Nottingham Fire & Rescue Department has six full time staff members and a number of volunteer fire fighters and medical personnel.  Anyone interested in volunteering should contact the department for more details. Staff is available to answer any questions by calling the Fire House, when they are not out on an emergency call.

Burn Permits

Burn Permits are issued,weather permitting, during normal office hours and on Holidays 4 pm to 5 pm.  Permits will be issued unless personnel are out on an emergency call or an inspection.  Click here for more information.
