The Nottingham Historical Society's membership and activity have fallen victim to everybody's very busy lifestyle. There is still a great interest in our town history, but lack of active participation in the running of the Society has made it necessary to curtail many regular Society events and projects.
We are still doing some research and answering questions concerning town history and genealogy when possible. And the van Dame Museum and Research Center, located next to the Town Office building and Police Station, is open most Thursdays from 9 to 11 a.m. or by special arrangement.
Until such time as more people become interested and are actually involved in the running of the Society, questions should be directed to the above address.
