PUBLIC NOTICE of SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
TOWN OF NOTTINGHAM
STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
2007
To the inhabitants of the Town of Nottingham in the County of Rockingham in said State,
qualified to vote in Town Affairs:
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED TO MEET AT THE NOTTINGHAM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN SAID NOTTINGHAM ON SATURDAY THE 15TH DAY OF DECEMBER 2007 NEXT AT 9:00 O’ CLOCK IN THE FORENOON TO ACT UPON THE
FOLLOWING SUBJECTS;
Article # 1: To see if the Town will vote to direct the Board of Selectmen to immediately withdraw the recent assessments of Pawtuckaway lakefront property from the tax records.

Article # 2: To see if the Town will vote to direct the Board of Selectmen to certify to the State of New Hampshire only those assessments that would have been certified by the assessment before the reassessment. (By Petition) Majority Vote required
Article # 3: To see if the Town will vote to direct the Board of Selectmen to release Avitar from its contract at the earliest possible moment. (By Petition) Majority Vote required
Article # 4: To see if the Town will vote to direct the Board of Selectmen to retain new appraisers to perform an analysis to determine whether any discrepancies exist. (By Petition) Majority Vote required
Article # 5: To see if the Town will vote to direct the Board of Selectmen to receive and consider all pertinent evidence from all affected parties relative to the need for reassessment and the methods to be used in any reassessment. (By Petition) Majority Vote required
Article # 6 To see if the Town will vote to direct the Board of Selectmen to adopt uniform assessment methods and criteria to be used for evaluations of all property within the Town’s borders. (By Petition) Majority Vote required
