NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Nottingham Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 22, 2008, beginning at 7:00 PM, in Conference Room 1 at the Town Municipal Office. The Planning Board will be discussing the following amendments proposed to the Nottingham Zoning Ordinance:
A. Adoption of proposed ARTICLE XVII – CONSERVATION OVERLAY DISTRICT that would allow Conservation Subdivisions.
B. Amendments to ARTICLE XV - DEFINITIONS as follows:
1. Removal of the definition “Cluster Development”
2. Removal of the definition “Buildable Area” to be replaced with the definition “Lot Envelope”.
3. Amendments to the following definitions:
· Common Conservation Land
· Fit for Building
· Frontage
· Structure
· Unfit for Building
C. Amendments to ARTICLE VI – DWELLING UNIT REQUIREMENTS:
· Amendment to SECTION A - Dwelling Unit Requirements and Setbacks:
1. Minimum Lot Requirements
· Amendment to SECTION G - Multifamily Development:
4. Regulations:
b. Land Area Multifamily Development.
· Removal of SECTION H - “Cluster Subdivisions will not be allowed”.
D. Amendment to ARTICLE VII – BUILDING PERMITS;
SECTION A- Requirements, Item #5

The full text of the proposed amendments are available for inspection in the Planning Office during regular business hours. Box 114, Nottingham, NH 03290, if received by the hearing date.
