Officer Don Gates III
Officer Gates was raised and schooled in Fremont. He joined the US Army in 2002 serving 6 years. 15 months of that enlistment was served in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was hired as a part-time Officer for the Town of Fremont, graduating from the 248th Part-time Academy. In December of 2006, Officer Gates was hired by the Nottingham Police Department and graduated from the 143rd Academy in June of 2007. Officer Gates is married and has four daughters.
