Pioneers
2008
Pioneers is our program for those going into grades 5 & 6. Pioneers serve as the bridge between Camp and Trailblazers, doing some service-work with the Trailblazers while still enjoying a different program designed for their age and ability.
Participants will particiapte in a variety of traditional summer camp activities while also doing a community service projects in payment for weekly trips. The Pioneer program emphasizes team building, education and fun through games, sports, projects and trips. Cost of Friday trips is included in the weekly cost of the program as long as the participant comes to two of the other days in the week and participates in the community service projects. Participants should bring a lunch, two snacks, plenty to drink, a change of clothes, bathing suit, towel and sunscreen. Please label all clothing and personal items.
Schedule:
Pioneers meet from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm, with before and after care available in conjunction with the summer camp. (8:00–9:00 am and 3:30–5:30 pm)
Monday & Wednesday..............................Various activities including sports, team building, and planning activities
Tuesday & Thursday.................................Service projects including reading buddies at the library, garden work as well as other activities
Friday...........................................................Trip (see schedule below)

All youth in the area can go on these trips, not just the Pioneers!

July 18 - Vertical Dreams - 9 am-3:30 pm - $35.00
July 25 - Canobie Lake - 9 am-7pm - $35.00
August 1 - Canoeing - 9 am-3:30 pm - $30.00
August 8 - Lee USA Speedway - 9 am-3:30 pm - $30.00
August 15 - Hampton Beach State Park - 9 am-3:30 pm - $30.00
August 22 - Water Country - 9 am-5:30 pm - $35.00
Most trips leave at 9:00 am and return by 3:30 pm or later, (as noted above - no charge for early departures or late returns) depending on trip.
