Ordinance #01-001 - Parking
AN ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON PUBLIC WAYS
WHERE SIGNS ARE ERECTED

        BY VIRTUE of the authority vested to the BOARD OF SELECTMEN by New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated 41:11 and the provision of RSA 47:17, (Paragraph XVIII), as referred to in RSA 41:11, we, the members of the BOARD OF SELECTMEN for the TOWNW OF NOTTINGHAM, enact the following regulation:

        NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the TOWN OF NOTTINGHAM, through the BOARD OF SELECTMEN, ordains that:

                WHERE SIGNS ARE ERECTED TO PROHIBIT PARKING, NO PARKING WILL BE ALLOWED.  VEHICLES WILL BE REMOVED UNDER CONDITIONS PROVIDED PURSUANT TO RSA 262:31, 262:32 AND 262:33, AND SAID PROVISIONS WILL BE ADHERED TO FOR RETENTION OF POSSESSED VEHICLES.

        PENALTY:  Any person who violates said ordinance will be fined $50.00 for each PARKING VIOLATION TICKET issued.  Said PARKING VIOLATION TICKET will be paid within 10 Business days of issuance of said TICKET.

        PASSED and ADOPTED by the BOARD OF SELECTMEN of the TOWN OF NOTTINGHAM on this 21st day of May 2001 by three (3) AFFIRMATIVE VOTES and zero (0) NEGATIVE VOTES.
