Ordinance #03-001 - Governing the Use of Products Containing Sludge
The use of products containing sludge or a mixture of sludge, such as Short Paper Fiber (SPF) sludge or Class A compost containing sludge, shall be permitted, provided that said products meet New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services and United States Environmental Protection Agency standards, and provided further that the use of such products is restricted to capping the Nottingham Landfill or covering the cap with topsoil and is in accordance with the closure plan for the landfill. The use of such
products or other sludge containing products for any other purpose in the Town of Nottingham shall not be permitted.
Adopted by the Board of Selectmen of the Town of Nottingham on the 21st day of February 2003 by a vote of 3-0 in favor.
