Community Playground

The Community Playground was developed by several residents who formed a group called the Nottingham Community Park & Playground, a non-profit organization dedicated to the developing community infrastructure and supporting community unity. The NCPP recognized the importance of child development through physical activity and play. They later changed their name to the Nottingham Community Project and eventually dissolved upon the completion of the current playground.  The Nottingham Recreation Department maintains their vision and plans to add to the park in the future.
