Registering to Vote & Other Tasks

The Supervisors of the Checklist, along with the Town Clerk, can accept new voter registrations, name and address changes, and changes to party affiliations, as they manage the voter checklist.  The dates and times of the year to do each of these activities are specifically determined by NH law. 

The Supervisors' will have open office hours throughout the year, including Saturdays, per the schedule below.  See the Supervisors' notice for each specific day to determine what registration activities are allowed.  Visit the Town Clerk's webpage for her office hours or call (603) 679-9598.

January 21st is the last day to register to vote or make changes to a name or address before the February 11th, 2020 Presidential Primary.  The Supervisors of the Checklist will be available from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the Town Clerk Office for Voter Registration.  Voters may also register with the Town Clerk during regular office hours up until 7:30 PM January 21st.  Per NH Law there WILL BE election day voter registration on February 11th, 2020.  

NO PARTY CHANGES WILL BE ACCEPTED

The deadline to make any chages to the party prior to the Presidential Primary was October 25, 2019.

New Voters

Applicants for registration who possess proof of identity, age, citizenship, and domicile should bring that proof when they come to register.  Qualified applicants who do not bring proof with them may register if they sign an affidavit attesting to their qualifications for identity, age, and citizenship.
