Town Beach Update- Shed

We Would like to send a huge thank you out to Pete and Neil who are part of the Pawtuckaway Lake Improvement Association for helping us fix up our Town Beach Shed! For a few years now, our beach shed has seen better days and thanks to these two, it is now usable during all seasons.

The carpentry, tree and maintenance work on the Town Beach Shed was completed on Wednesday afternoon,  July 20, 2022.

     The complete list of work preformed follows;

     1- Overhanging branches from nearby trees were cut and removed.

     2- The moss cover rear roof was scraped and a cleaning agent applied to prevent new build up.

      3- New eaves were installed in the rear and front of the shed.

      4- Two new side vents were built by Neil and installed that prevent bugs and weather from entering the shed.

     5- The damage front siding was removed and replaced with primed LP SmartSide.

      6- The front wall was reinforced.

      7- Two new barrel bolts were installed on the left front door for added security.

      8- All nails and screws that previously penetrated the siding in various areas were removed and new methods of attaching signs and shelving were installed.

      9- Debris left by critters were removed.

     10- All debris from our work was removed to the Town Recycling Center.

In closing, the only work that remains is the painting of the trim and shed siding. We are so excited that this eye sore has been fixed!!
