Employment Opportunity -Operator

The Town of Nottingham is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer to join its Highway Department team. Candidates must have a valid CDL-B license, snow-plowing and heavy-equipment operation experience, and be able to perform the physical requirements of the job. The ideal candidate will be a versatile, hard-working member of a small team.

This is a full-time, year-round position.  General work schedule of Monday-Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 7:00am – 11:00am on Fridays with overtime as required.  Pre-employment drug/alcohol screening, motor vehicle and criminal background checks are required as conditions of employment.

The Town of Nottingham offers a competitive benefits package including health, dental, life, and disability insurance, FSA, retirement plan, and paid vacation and sick time.  Pay range $24.00-$29.00/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
