Hazard Mitigation Planning Team Meeting #3

The Town of Nottingham has begun the process of updating Nottingham’s 2017 Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP). The third meeting of the Hazard Mitigation Planning Team and the Town’s consultant Strafford Regional Planning Commission (SRPC) has been scheduled for Thursday October 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM, at Town Hall, 139 Stage Rd, Nottingham, NH.
The meeting will discuss existing mitigation strategies and accomplishments since 2017. The meeting goal is to identify potential hazards to impact Nottingham based on the 2017 Plan and 2018 NH State Plan, the structures vulnerable to these hazards, and the status of past Town strategies to mitigate the hazard impacts.
All citizens, businesses, municipal officials, and interested parties are invited to attend this Kick-off meeting. This update of the 2017 Plan is funded by FEMA under contract to Strafford Regional Planning Commission and is a collaborative planning process with the Town.
