Preliminary Revaluation Notices

Avitar Associates has completed the town-wide revaluation for 2020 and preliminary notices will be sent to all property owners within the week.  This was last done in 2015.  

The preliminary assessments town-wide show a 23% average increase since the 2015 revaluation, so the vast majority of properties will see a considerable increase in value.  As the total value of town property increases, the tax rate will decrease.  The 2020 tax rate will be set by the state before December tax bills are mailed.
