Veterans Day Ceremony  November 11, 2022, 11 AM

This year, as part of the town’s year long 300th Celebration, there will a Veterans Day ceremony on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 11 AM in front of the Blaisdell Memorial Library, 129 Stage Road. 

The Honor Guard of the Nottingham Boy Scout Troop 167 will raise the flag, and will lead the crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Claire Burbank will sing the National Anthem.   

The Fire and Police Department  Chaplain, Gary Anderson, will offer an innovation.

Board of Selectmen Chair Donna Danis will address the group, followed by Nottingham Veterans Tiler Eaton, and Steve White describing what it means to serve their country and to be a veteran.

Throughout the ceremony, Judith McGann will play the trumpet with patriotic songs.

The event will close with a wreath laying at the flagpole, a moment of silence, and words by Anderson.  McGann will play taps.

Everyone, especially veterans, is invited to attend this event
