Want to do your part to help the environment?  Volunteering your passion?  The Lamprey River Advisory Committee does not currently have a Nottingham representative.

The Lamprey River Advisory Committee reviews potential activities or "improvements" that could impact the Lamprey River watershed. These include, but are not limited to, subdivisions, industrial development, bridge repair/replacement, fish passage over a dam, etc.

The Committee oversees these projects for 14 towns in the watershed.  Each community can appoint up to four residents to serve on the Committee. Members include riverside landowners, conservationists, municipal employees, scientists, engineers, and concerned citizens.

The Committee meets once a month on the third Tuesday in the Lee Safety Complex.
