Summer Camp Scholarship Fund

Summer Camp

What are Summer Camp Scholarships?

Summer Camp Scholarships are fee waivers available to help eligible families decrease the cost of Recreation Summer Camp Program fees. Summer Camp Scholarships are only available for Nottingham Recreation's 8 week summer camp programs, not in addition to camps such as soccer, baseball, softball, lego, horse, swim classes, etc. Scholarships can be rewarded to children going into our Summer Camp grades 1st-9th and also to our Counselor in Training Program grades 10th-12th. Our goal is to be able to give 10 children within the community full waivers of $800 each. Those awarded scholarships will be provided with 2 snacks and 1 lunch for every day of camp.

We are only able to do this each year through fundraising and donations. Our Summer 2019 goal is a total of $8000. We have started fundraising with our Holiday Homemade Fair, Town Meeting and Pickleball! Please if you have any fundraising ideas or would like to send a donation please mail all donations to The Nottingham Recreation 139 Stage Rd. Nottingham, NH 03290 and make all checks out to The Town of Nottingham.

• Scholarships are provided at the sole discretion of the Town of Nottingham’s Department of Recreation.

• Scholarships are only offered for 8 Week Summer Camp Programs, no additional camps or swim programs.

• Assistance is provided only if financial hardship is determined.

• Youth are eligible for one scholarship per year. New Application must be filled out every new year.
