Proposed Zoning Changes for March 14th 2023 Elections

The Nottingham Planning Board is submitting four warrant articles to amend the town’s Zoning Ordinance Regulations.

The purpose of all four articles is to comply with the 2022-2023 Edition of the New Hampshire Planning and Land Use Regulation, to provide clarifying language for the applicant, the Planning and Zoning Department and the Planning and Zoning Boards, as well as to meet the goals set forth within Nottingham’s Master Plan.

Impervious Surface – Add language to align with the State definition.

Vegetative Buffers – Add a section to clarify language for applicants, abutters and Planning and Zoning Board members.

Aquifer Protection District – Update the existing zoning ordinance language to align with State regulations.

Roadway Setback – Clarify language for applicants, abutters and Planning and Zoning Board members.

Public Hearings have been held on each submitted article in order to provide opportunity for deliberation and input from the public.

All articles are available on the Town of Nottingham’s website (see attachments below) and printed copies can be requested at the Selectmen’s/Town Administration Office.
