Celebrate Nottingham Committee’s Mission Statement

The mission is to carry forward the spirit of the Town’s 300th Anniversary through a series of events and activities that the entire community celebrates with pride in Nottingham.  An example of such an event was the reading of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 2023, at the Nottingham Square Schoolhouse, and the Nottingham Community Bonfire, held on January 13, 2024.

Nottingham voters approved Warrant Article #20 in March 2024 to change the name and the purpose of the previously established Tri-Centennial Fund to the Celebrate Nottingham Fund for the purpose of town-wide celebrations to include but not limited to future anniversary celebrations (ie: 325th).
